Built Into the Line

The Heated Pretreatment Wash Behind Every Finish

Before a speck of powder goes on, every part runs through our integrated heated wash. It’s the step most shops cut corners on — and the one that decides whether your coating lasts for years or starts failing in months.

Clean First.

Coat Second.

Adhesion Is Everything

Why Pretreatment Governs Coating Life

Powder can only bond to a clean surface. Oils, dust, fingerprints and shop residue left on a part become weak points where a coating lifts, bubbles or peels down the road. Our heated wash removes those contaminants and conditions the metal so the powder grabs and stays put. Prep quality — not the powder itself — is usually what separates a coating that lasts from one that fails.

Removes Oils & Contaminants

A heated wash lifts the grease, dust and residue that ruin adhesion.

Conditions the Surface

Prepares the metal so powder bonds tightly and evenly across the whole part.

Fights Corrosion From Underneath

A properly prepped surface resists rust creeping under the finish.

Inside the Wash

A Multi-Stage Heated Wash

Your parts travel through the wash stage on the same conveyor that carries them to coating — cleaned and prepped in one continuous pass.

01

Clean & Degrease

A heated wash strips oils, grease, dust and manufacturing residue from every surface.

02

Rinse

Parts are flushed to carry away loosened contaminants and cleaning solution.

03

Surface Prep

The metal is conditioned to give the powder a clean, receptive surface to bond to.

04

Dry-Off

Parts are dried before coating so no moisture is trapped under the finish.

No Extra Handling, No Delay

Built Right Into the Conveyor Line

Because pretreatment lives on the same overhead conveyor line as coating, parts don’t wait between steps.

One Continuous Pass

Wash, prep and coat happen in sequence on the same conveyor — no staging delays.

Same Prep, Every Run

An integrated stage means every part is prepped the same, consistent way — ideal for production volume.

Faster Turnaround

No shuttling parts to a separate prep booth keeps big jobs moving and timelines tight.

Pretreatment FAQ

What is pretreatment, exactly?

It’s the cleaning and surface-prep stage that happens before powder is applied. Our integrated heated wash removes oils, dust and residue and conditions the metal so the coating bonds properly. It’s a separate step from media blasting, and both play a role in a lasting finish.

Because a coating can only be as good as the surface under it. Contaminants left on a part create weak spots where the finish eventually lifts or peels. Thorough pretreatment is one of the biggest factors in how long a powder coat holds up.

Not to the same degree. Plenty of smaller shops do minimal prep by hand. Our wash is a dedicated heated stage built right into the conveyor line, so every part gets a consistent, thorough pretreatment on every run.
No — because it’s integrated into the same line as coating, parts move through the wash and on to powder in one continuous pass. It improves the result without slowing your turnaround.
